Volumes continues the brutality.

Volumes is a band that had to overcome a lot this year, but with their new single, Pixelate, they are more than ready to carry on through turmoil and grief. After a 5- year absence from the band, Michael Barr is back and now this band is locked and loaded once again and ready to show the world what they are made of.

It starts off with a futuristic tone before kicking in with intense riffs. Once the vocals come in, you are fully immersed in this retro realm of riffs and growls. Pain, emotion and intensity is all demonstrated in this track. Despite it being constantly in your face, there is a suspenseful vibe behind it that makes it all the more unsettling. It is bracing you for the inevitable impact that is ahead of us. Though the formula is consistent, this is a track that is going to leave you wanting so much more. All with a music video that takes place in a dormant urban setting that makes this more relevant to the times that we are living in than ever.

Volumes have always been ahead of their time with their unique style of heaviness and craft. With the return of their vocalist Michael Barr, once this pandemic is over, Volumes will be ready to take over the world by storm.
