In a time of pure darkness and uncertainty, Alice Cooper rises once again from the ashes to deliver a motivational song, Don’t Give Up to let us know everything will be okay. Alice Cooper uses his signature style of darkness to fight the darkness that surrounds us.

A very melancholy guitar tone sets an atmosphere. Instead of kicking in, Alice Cooper leads us in with dialogue understanding a time that we are living in and telling us we will get through this. When he starts singing, he uses the melody in his voice with powerful and relatable lyrics that are serenading, powerful and mesmerizing. He comes back and forth with the dialogue and singing reinforcing the message, delivering imagery and motivation. The music in itself also supports the context and lyricism as well. It is slow and doomy and dark, easily demonstrating imagery of the times that we are currently living in. Ending with “This is Alice Cooper from Detroit, Keep Fighting, Don’t give up”, this is a message that is not only relevant now, but will be relevant for any future turmoil to come both internally and externally.

It has been said before numerous times, but Alice Cooper has always been ahead of his time, and this time is no different. He is ahead in knowing we will triumph through this tragedy and this song is a representation of that.
