King 810 continue their signature sound of pure darkness.

King 810 is a band that has perfected their own signature sound, style and craft and will still keep you coming back for more. With their eerie sound, imagery and concepts, David Gunn has used pain and darkness as his paintbrush, his instrument, his armor and at no point has he let it become his anchor.
In their new video for their single Dukes, if you have yet to get on board with this group, how is the time. King 810 creates a very raw and organic video that captures what almost looks like a laid back jam session, but analyzing it deeper, it is the perfect sense of imagery with their sound. The track has an essence of groove and catchiness. David Gunn’s signature voice captures the eeriness and lyricism we all know and love from classics such as Alpha and Omega, A Million Dollars and Heartbeats, but once again speaks it in an adjusted version of their own language. This track almost makes the agony and intensity that David Gunn has always spoken about and serves as a welcoming grand tour of it. Never has there been a moment where a song states “all my friends are dead” and still makes it has groovy and catchy as now. The track is raw and organic and easy to enjoy while the video takes all those sonic elements and brings it into a visual.
King 810 is not just a band. It is a sonic and visual representation of David Gunn and his struggles and creating art that welcomes people of all tastes, backgrounds and experiences. When you are at a King 810 show, you are not just watching a show, you are part of it. David Gunn takes the venue and makes it his world.
This band has seen the devil, and the band has won.
