We all know how Pay to Play is a killer for local and touring bands, but it can also be a killer for dictators. 

With Putin continuing to escalate tensions, the USA department of defense is using the same tactics promoters use to fend off shitty bands. They are calling it Pay to Invade. With the rouble in the total shitter, Vladimir Putin refuses to set foot on soil that requires armies to pay to invade their country. While Japan was able to get the gig in Pearl Harbor and Al Qaeda was able to perform in New York City (minus the 19 tickets needed), Vladimir Putin does not have the support or popularity to invade the United States and cannot fill the US’s territory.
