Local bands fear CDC will cut their set times next

After the CDC’s new Quarantine guidelines, cutting isolation period for asymptomatic patients from 10 days to 5 days, local bands fear that their set times are coming next as a result. Most local bands have been playing for about a half hour during their pay to play sets, however, with isolation periods being likely shorter for touring bands that have no symptoms, it means that their sets would go longer and in turn cutting the local bands set times in half for about 20 minutes.

One local musician has stated:

When you see how the CDC rapidly changed their policy, it only makes us wonder how that policy is going to play into the promoters stage times as well. It is hard to sell tickets when we only play for 20 minutes. For a prog band like us, that only means we get to play about half of a song. We feel that the CDC should have been more upfront with us in particular.
