Venues and tour managers are now requiring fans to provide a Negative Punisher Test in order to meet their favorite artists. This is to prevent fans from taking too long and talking the artists to death every time they meet them. If this Punisher test comes back positive, the fans will be asked to leave, and security is authorized to escort them out if need be. 

One tour manger said

“These Rapid Punisher tests are the the best way to combat Rapid Spread of fans talking artists to death about how much they love their music despite not being able to name one song, prevent people from handing artists their demos, as well as prevent fans from asking for 16 different guest list spots at the shows. This is the best way to make sure that people get their pictures, get their merchandise signed and then get the hell out” 

Venues will be distributing these rapid punisher tests at shows. Many experts state though that men though these tests are good at decreeing punishers at shows, that it is also easy to sense a punisher from a mile away.
