The CDC Strongly Recommends Deodorant at Shows

New guidance from the CDC strongly suggests that people should wear deodorant at shows regardless of mask mandates or vaccination status. They have been urging governors to pass deodorant mandates on its people to prevent the horrendous odors of concert goers, mainly at metal shows.

CDC director Rochelle Walensky has stated

“No mask or vaccine can protect people from the wretched BO that many concert goers have been infested with. It has created a foul stench amongst concert venues and other indoor establishments. This needs to be mandated by our elected officials since even with the return of concerts, people can’t seem to get the message across. This has been advocated by other concert goers willing to do the right thing and making sure they don’t smell bad when surrounding themselves with other people.”

While no mandate has been imposed, many elected officials are strongly urging venues to provide a smell test upon entry, despite the risk of massive suffocation.
