With vaccinations required to enter restaurants and other cultural establishments. Many musicians in the black metal realm who have deemed vaccines to be for posers have managed to have their own version of the Covid pass to enter such places. We are all familiar with the NYS Excelsior Pass which provides a QR code to show proof of vaccine, now people in the realm of black metal have found that their unreadable logos groove just as effective as the imagery provided by the QR codes. 

One musician who’s name is too hard to pronounce and spell stated: 

“QR codes and black metal logos, what’s the difference?! Both are unreadable, hard to comprehend and it seems people can’t stand them equally. I replaced my QR code with a Darkthrone Logo because it looks more KVLT and the people at the door don’t know black metal from their vaccinated ass, so I consider this to be a win win.”
